In order to provide quality photography affordably, we save time by giving you all pertinent information in print. We will not refund your non-refundable retainer because you failed to read the session options and scheduled the wrong session. Please understand we are not a boutique photographer. Our company services thousands of clients at reasonable rates, instead of providing luxury service with a hefty price tag. We offer the service of bringing your ideas to life and capturing the memories with exceptional equipment and skill. We invite you to take your time browsing Pinterest and Instagram and find what makes your heart smile! Then send us these ideas. We will let you know what we have and what you need to fill in. Together, we will create the best replica of your vision. This model of 'client DIY sets' allow us to save time and money and pass the savings onto you! Our website is self-service, although we encourage you to text any questions you have before scheduling. All retainers are non-refundable.
Our brand new studio is located near the Tamiami Airport / London Square area. 13155 SW 134 St Suite: 208 Miami, FL 33186. You will find it has top of the line photography equipment and three generously spaced session rooms. First is our ample and pleasant Newborn / Baby room ready to bring your ideas to life! The second is a one of a kind, versatile lifestyle room in all white, complete with crown molding throughout. Lastly, we have our mini session room with gorgeous french windows, perfectly suited to change seasonally. Each unique and aimed at providing you with varied options for your session. From a barn to a fanciful boutique and everything in between! If you prefer outdoor sessions, two South West Dade locations are available. One is a picturesque private farmland and the other is beautiful Matheson Hammock Park. Both will serve to capture you at your best amidst nature. Selection of Matheson will include an additional $40 permit fee. Please note that balloons are not permitted in any of our outdoor locations.

The NLP session fee for on location / birth / hospital fresh / events includes:
-The time & talent of the photographer used to capture your images & edit them at a basic level. (Location permits are not covered by NLP.)
-Any traveling expenses.
After the session, most photographers would ask you to choose a set number of images and the industry standard is to resell them to you. We do NOT do this, we give you the entire gallery, with basic editing, complimentary! That being said, our session fees are very affordable, so that in the event your images are not to your liking, you are able to purchase another session and try again. Please keep in mind that while we aim to please, we are selling sessions, not images.
Art is subjective. We bring your vision to life. However, we cannot control, nor be responsible for your wardrobe/background choices, and the subject’s demeanor, which will of course affect the end results. The amount of images taken is also entirely dependent on the baby's and/or children's behavior. Please keep this in mind at all times.
There is a non-refundable/transferable retainer fee to book a session that is applied to your session balance. You may reschedule ONE time before forfeiting the non-refundable/transferable retainer fee. You MUST reschedule 12 hours before your session. Once your miss your session, you forfeit your deposit. Please understand the reason this fee is non-refundable/transferable is because that part of your session fee pays for blocking off that calendar space. If you choose to not take it, we are losing the ability to schedule another client, with a more costly session possibly, in that time slot. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to be extra sure when booking your session.
We schedule in 15 minute, 20 minute, 30 minute and 60 minute increments. If you would like more time for your session, you are able to schedule consecutive back to back sessions to amount to the desired length of time wanted for your session. For instance, if you would like 60 minutes Outside Session, that would be two 30 minute Outside Sessions. Another example is if you want 2 hour newborn session. You would schedule 2 consecutive one hour newborn sessions.
The reschedule is limited to the type of session you scheduled. You cannot reschedule from an outside session to inside because that's not a reschedule, that is changing your mind and wanting a different type of session which means you will lose your $20 non-refundable/transferable retainer and will have to pay a new $20 non-refundable/transferable retainer for a different type of session. Please be considerate and cancel and/or reschedule.
Late Fee Policy: First of all, please understand that your session has a specific start and end time. Each minute you are late is one minute of clicking time and potential cute moments lost. When you are late the entire day's schedule is thrown off and effects not only the company, but all of the other clients booked for that day. NLP prides itself in our quality of work and protocols are set in order to produce the best results possible. This is not only to keep our clients happy, but also to protect our reputation.
1. You have a five minutes grace period to be inside the studio before you forfeit your $20 deposit. For example, if your session is at 1100 AM and you arrive at the studio at 1106, you will be charged the full cost of the session, instead of the remaining balance after deposit.
2. If you cancel your session within 5 hours of your appointment time, you will owe 1/2 of the cost of your entire session.
3. If you miss the entire appointment, this is considered a 'no show' and you owe the entire session fee. Should there be time available to perform the shoot when you arrive, you may purchase a new session at that point.
Payment is due upon completion of the session. Cash, Venmo, Cash app, check and credit/debit cards are accepted. (credit/debit cards are subject to a $5 administrative fee). Any checks returned due to insufficient funds or any other reason are subject to a dishonored check fee. All fees are non-negotiable. If you are unable to afford a session, please use our client referral system in place to help subsidize your cost.
Our most successful sessions, especially baby/child, happen when there are minimal distractions. Ideally, all focus should be on the subject/s being celebrated at the moment. We realize you might have other children, but we ask that you make arrangements for them so that you can enjoy this special moment with the child/ren being photographed. If you will be adding family members to your session, we ask that they please wait to enter the set area until called upon. We do have a waiting area for studio sessions, however space is limited. We ask that you please help us maintain a peaceful studio environment by not bringing anyone that is not essential to your session.
Events (Birthday, Baptism, Wedding, etc.), Birth, Hospital Fresh and 'On Location' Sessions are not available thru calendar scheduling. You must coordinate and schedule with via text first and then it will be added to the calendar.
Please let us know if you are a Rainbow Baby Mom, as discounts apply to your maternity, newborn and 1st year birthday sessions.
It takes 5-15 days to edit and send images. If you'd like your pictures within 5 days, there is an additional rush fee.
All digital images are given basic editing and emailed to you in a link to download. Please note, images need to be downloaded within 30 days of your session or the link will expire. Most clients find it convenient to download their galleries on their computers. However, there is an new Pixie app that facilitates mobile download. Please contact us if this interests you. We take as many pictures as I can in the allotted time scheduled.
Re-send fee: Please remember that once you receive your gallery, you must download them into your personal storage device within 30 days. Past that, we charge a resend fee. This is because after the transfer service (pixieset) albums expire, we have to retrieve the images from our data storage which costs approximately $8,000 per year to maintain. While it comes at a pretty hefty cost, we understand that life happens and anyone can forget to download their pictures. Therefore, we do archive and resend, but the fee is necessary in order to offset the costs on our end and keep your session prices low.
Re-edit fee: We ask that you please review our photography style very well, prior to booking. NLP's style, as advertised, is very bright. If you receive your images and want them re-edited against our style / darker, an additional fee will be charged because of the time spent editing your gallery twice.

-Most sessions have a maximum number of subjects included with the base session fee. Additional family members may be added at a cost of $12 to $15 per person, however that also has a maximum, dependent on the session type. Should you desire past the set number of add-ons allowed, a second session will be required.
-Multiples are not considered additional family members. They need their own individual sessions .Additional fees may apply for the posing of twins, triplets, etc. together.
-We love our pets too, but they are not permitted as additional family members during NLP photo sessions.
Parents of walking babies / toddlers: When choosing an inside or outside session, please take into consideration that we highly recommend outside due to the typical rambunctious nature at this stage. The studio sets are not large, therefore in order to attain the best shots we need you to be confident your child will cooperate and stay in range of the camera. If you feel your child needs space to explore, please book an outside session or book additional sessions so that we have ample time to achieve your vision.
If you choose to bring outside props to your session, please keep in mind that NLP's photographic style focuses mainly on the subject. The studio sets are 6 feet wide and 5 feet tall. Most of the background will be blurred. This enables us to produce an optimal image of the subject. Please keep size in mind while choosing your studio background props. A birthday stat board for example, would not be able to be appreciated because it would not be in focus. The same goes for very large props, such as huge number/letter balloons, which will more than likely be cut off in your images. Furthermore, reflective banners and the like, are not recommended because when used with our professional studio lighting, glare will be produced. Confetti nor bubbles are permitted in the studio due to our back to back sessions not giving us time for clean up in between. Balloons are not allowed out the outside locations. Our philosophy at NLP is that simple is best. Our mutual aim is to produce a vivid memory of your loved one/s, rather than the background. If you follow the recommendations, our style will showcase just that! That being said please keep in mind that set up time is part of your allotted session time. If you have a prop/s that require a lot of time to set up, please consider booking multiple sessions or pre-setting up at home and arriving ready.
Makeup: We do not offer makeup services. However, we do encourage that you make your best effort or hire professional services because the difference is remarkable when viewing images.
Families with 7 people or more must schedule two back to back 30 minute sessions.
